Our Challenge

The Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) is an international nonprofit that ​​discovers, develops, and delivers treatments for neglected patients around the world. To increase fundraising and drive the growth of its partnerships, the executive director of its North American office requested a comprehensive communications strategy to better articulate its value proposition, increase its share of voice, and position its new executive director as a thought leader in the global health space.

Our Solution

We developed a comprehensive approach to address DNDi North America’s communications needs, with a significant focus on establishing thought leadership. The process began with deep discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and an omni-channel content audit to clarify DNDi’s messaging and goals. We then moved into detailed audience analysis, developing user personas and conducting competitive content analysis to refine our strategy.

Central to our solution was the development and execution of a robust thought leadership strategy aimed at elevating DNDi’s visibility in the global health and biotechnology sectors. This included creating a list of key thought leadership topics, optimizing LinkedIn content to showcase expertise, and identifying high-impact speaking opportunities.

Our Impact

While the work is ongoing, thus far we have ensured clarity in messaging and positioning DNDi as a thought leader in global health. We continue to support DNDi with ongoing execution and advisory services of their communications strategy.
